Ph. D. Thesis 1990, Title "Basic Sets in Complex and Clifford Analysis" Carried out at the State university of
Ghent, Belgium, Supervised by, R. Delanghe. Abstract published in: Advances in
Applied Clifford Algebras, vol.;1(1), Mexico, December 1991, p106.
Abstract of Ph. D. Thesis:
The theory of bases in function spaces plays an important role in mathematics and its applications, e.g. in
approximation theory and mathematical physics.
The Ph. D. thesis is entirely devoted to the study of bases in spaces of holomorphic functions in one or two
complex variables and spaces of monogenic functions. It is divided into three parts, namely
Part I: Basic sets in complex analysis,
Part II: Basic sets in Clifford analysis,
Part III: Nuclear Frechet spaces with basis.
Each of those parts is in its turn subdivided into chapters.
We wish to point out that the results obtained in this last part III might form the starting point of further
investigations concerning basis transforms in more general locally convex spaces.
