Structures and Decoration of outersurfaces(façade)of balaces and buildings in sohag city (Aera of Mohammed's Aly family

This research contain structures and decoration of outer surfaces of the remained civilized buildings at aera of Mohammed's Aly family in sohag city.

These buildings represent a lot of styles arrived to the Egyptian archeticture during 19^th centurey and first of 20^th century .

They reflect different European styles transfer and their effects on the main cities as Cairo and Alexandria up to upperegypt.

Some bodies thought that these civilized buildings that affected by different European styles found only at Cairo and Alexandria ,but actually they are found in most of Egyptian cities.

 In this article we will discuss the subject through 3 different axes:

1^st:an idea about sohag city in Mohammed's Aly family aera.

2^nd:structure of façade of the remained balaces and buildings in sohag city.

3^rd:the decoration of the façade of the remained balaces and buildings in sohag city.

The aim of this study:

1-To through some light on the archetictural and technical heriarge found in sohag city and which refer to Mohammed's Aly family.

2-Trial to preserve this archeticture and technical treasure especially after weakness ,deterioration and encroachment of many of them.

3-puplishing a lot of drawings that represent faces of the balaces and buildings that refer to Mohammed's Aly family in sohag city.
