Abstract Study Title: leadership skills and its relationship with the level of morale among teachers in Taif from teachers' point of view of secondary school principals. Hamza al-Aqeel Objectives of the study: 1 - identify the grade of availability of leadership skills for secondary schools principals in the General Department of Education-Taif 2 - identify the grade of morale among teachers at the secondary schools in the General Department of Education-Taif 3 - to detect significant statistical differences between the averages of the availability of leadership skills exercised by the principals of secondary schools Taif, according to the study variables (age, experience, qualifications, type of qualification). 4 - to detect significant statistical differences between the averages of assessing the level of morale among teachers at the secondary level in Directorate General of Education in Taif from their point of view and according to the study variables (age, experience, qualifications, type of qualification). 5 – to detect the strength of the ties and its statistical significance between the degree variables of leadership skill practices and the degree of teachers' morale in Taif's secondary schools in their point of view. Survey's methodology and tools: The researcher used the analytical descriptive method the present study, the questionnaire was built consisting of (76) statements measure of the availability of the leadership skills of managers of secondary schools in Taif in three dimensions is the technical skills, human skills and the skills of conceptual cognitive, as well as include (48) statements measure the degree of morale and that is to estimate the workers and staff satisfaction and work environment, and human relations inside and outside the school and the material and moral incentives. Society and the study sample: All secondary school teachers in Taif, who are (992) Independent secondary school teacher, (324) teachers were selected by the random stratified way according to the education offices in the city. Results of the study: - Show that the average degree of items that measure leadership skills ( 3.67 ) and high availability as well as the availability of technical skills ( 3.69 ) provided high degrees and show that more leadership skills, the availability of the cognitive skills of the scenario ( 3.69 ), followed by leadership skills in the field of human skills ( 3.667 ), followed by leadership skills in the field of art. - That the overall average degree of items that measure morale in the secondary school teachers government in Taif, as seen by teachers was a high degree ( 3.7 ). The degree of morale on the human relations within and outside the school are high. This dimension came first and was followed by assessment of workers ( 3.78 ) and satisfaction of work environment ( 3.39 ) in a high degree. Then the dimension of simulation awards (3. 43) . - Results showed that there was no statistically significant differences at the between the averages of responses to members of the study level of 0.05 = α sample of teachers about the availability of leadership skills as a whole and its three dimensions (technical, human, cognitive) exercised by the directors of secondary schools in Taif from the perspective of teachers, according to the variable of educational qualification, as well as according to the variable of age, as well as to experience, except for the differences between the averages of responses to members of a sample study on the levels yet provide the technical skills for the benefit of their experience of those 15 and older. While showing the existence of differences in the following technical skills for the benefit of educational qualifications. - As for the morale, The results has shown that there are no differences in the degree of morale as a whole and their dimensions, according to the type variable educational qualification (educational / noneducation), age. While showing that there are statistically significant differences in satisfaction to employee work environment and material and moral incentives to teachers, both individually and according to age were in favor of those aged 40 years and over compared to those aged less than 30 years, as well as for those aged 40 years and over compared to whom ages are from 30 years to less than 40 years. And the results showed that there are no differences of statistical degrees of morale as a whole and the dimensions (estimate of workers, human relations) at the secondary school teachers in Taif, according to the variable of experience, while showing that there are statistically significant differences between the averages of assessing the degree of morale in me satisfaction of work and its environment and material and moral incentives for teachers both individually and according to the experience and for those who have 15 years experience and over compared to those who have experience less than 5 years, as well as for those who experience 15 years and over compared to those who experience from 5 years to less than 10 years. - Results showed a positive correlation and a fairly good degree of availability of the leadership skills of managers of secondary schools and the degrees of the whole morale of teachers. Recommendations : 1-The importance of emphasis on human connection skills . 2- The importance of improving visual leadership skills . 3-Maintaining the highest levels of teachers morale
