The course aims to provide students with basic terms and knowledge of industrial microbiology begining with choosing the best microrganism suitable for industry, raw material used for growing microbes in industry, media com[ostion and preparation, fermentation process, industrial production of the following products will be covered: bakers yeast, ethanol, organic acids, antibiotics, vitamins, amino acids and biofuels. This course aims to prepare students for industry with an appropriate level of understanding of tboth the science and business aspects.
