This guidebook specifies the general design and construction requirement of slaughterhouse for swine with a capacity of 20-50 heads and for large animal (Cattle & Carabao) with capacity of 5-10 heads. The guidebook defines the general requirement to operate a facility and establishment engaged in primary production and post-harvest stages of meat supply chain. Thus, specific requirements for the Animal Welfare Act and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are considered accordingly.
