Using critical thinking, problem solving skills and judgment call, student is able to:

B1- Assess and interpret the gestational age of a pregnant lady through history taking, focused clinical examination, beta-HCG level, and ultrasound assessment

B2- Differentiate clinically between normal pregnancies and high risk pregnancies.

B3- Distinguish between different causes of bleeding in early pregnancies with judgment of life threatening conditions

B4- Point out the warning signs of late pregnancy and criteria for early referral to specialized centres

B5- Estimate  the risk of bleeding in late pregnancy and how to start management

B6- Appraise different methods of assessment of fetal well being and interpret criteria of distressed fetuses which need immediate intervention

B7- Interpret findings on partograph in management of normal labor and identify cases requiring referral

B8- Evaluate the female during labor and early detect obstructed labor through clinical symptoms and signs and outline management of a case study simulating obstructed labor

B9- Assess complications of the third stage of labor and show how to apply first aid management of each till a senior obstetrician is involved.

B10- Interpret symptoms and signs of common gynecological problems to reach a proper diagnosis

B11- Outline diagnostic and management approach for common gynecological problems (vaginal discharge, menstrual disorders, pelviabdominal mass, infertility, pelvic pain, bleeding)

B12- Choose the most appropriate contraceptive methods for different situations
